Some days I feel like a complete failure. It's 12:00 am and I feel like I got nothing done. I want to write a book, make a painting, read, draw, draw, draw. But at 12:00 am I sit there in front of my computer having done nothing.
And then I say, "I wish there was more time in the day."
But that's bullshit. There is plenty of time in the day. We are all given the same 24 hours and yet some people accomplish some pretty amazing things.
People have made it to the moon during these 24 hours and I'm here on my bed complaining about time.
So why can't I make it to the moon?
I look at all the things I do during the day and realize I waste a lot of time. I watch TV, look at videos, go on Facebook, text people, browse the internet, go out and drink when I knew I should've stayed home.
And before I know it, I've wasted some pretty valuable time.
People say time is money. But that's not true.
James Altucher said, "money I can always make back. Time lost is gone forever."
Time is more valuable than money.
So right now, decide where you are wasting time. Decide what brings you joy and do those things. If something drains you of energy, cut that out.
And use that valuable time to create. To make something bigger than yourself. And share it with the world.
There are no excuses. We have plenty of time. We've just been using it the wrong way.
(and say hi to spring!)
