From the minute we are born, we are doomed. We crawl around, can't even speak. Then we go to school for 12 or 13 years. Then to college. Then maybe graduate school. Then we work for 40 or 50 years. Then we can retire and finally relax. What the!
Where's the life? The creativity?
We can make it a little better if we don't stop dreaming. Being creative.
Every time someone asks me where I want to go and I'm not sure, I say, "somewhere over the rainbow."
My friend, one day, responded, "we can't go anywhere then because it's not raining yet.
Sometimes we need a little rain until our creativity sparks. Until it can create a new life. New adventures.
Everyone's an artist. Until we grow up and life squeezes it out of our pores like a zit on a teenager. Splattering on the mirror.
I'll give you one tip that's worked for me:
Write 10 ideas down every day. Every day. About anything. In a year that's 3,650 ideas. Most will be bad. But some will be good. And you'll want to act on the ideas. They'll change your life. Like it's changed mine.
You'll be building new worlds like we used to do with Legos as kids.
Don't let growing up stop you from being creative.
